Trelawney House

Trelawney is a big handsome but practical house 120 metres from the sandy beach at Gorran Haven. It has high ceilings, wood floors, warmth and comfort and chandeliers. A fantastic family holiday house, easy going pleasures for children (own tv room and sandy feet happily accommodated on wooden floors) and relaxing adults. Much loved and great for both intimacy and entertaining. Honeymooners and gatherings welcome!

In the centre of the village, Trelawney is a large Victorian house with four bedrooms, two bathrooms (one ensuite) and two sitting rooms. It has  outdoor dining in the pleasant terrace front garden.

There's parking on the (steep) driveway, a 2 minute walk to the beach and cliff paths. The house has a slightly grand atmosphere. It feels comfortable and relaxing because it has been filled with soft sofas, quality bedding and decorated in soft caramel colours.

The kids can watch tv or play on the xbox in the rear sitting room. The house is unusually spacious and generously run.

From the porch, you turn left into the dining room which has a large wooden dining table seating 8 and an impressive chandelier. From the dining room you go into a well-equipped kitchen with a range cooker and American style large fridge-freezer. On the right of the hallway, you will find the living room with wooden floors, rug, log burner and leather sofas. Go along the hallway further and there is a handy snug or children's room equipped with TV and Xbox. There is utility area here at the rear. 

If you go up the large stairway, you will find 2 twin-bedded rooms and a double bedroom (kingsize bed) and a family bathroom with a walk-in shower, corner bath and basin. Separate wc next to bathroom. The second floor which spans the whole upper storey, has the main bedroom with a superking bed.at one end of the room and a free-standing bath, pedestal basin and toilet tucked round the corner at the other. 

Christmas and the off-season times are lovely here - cosy on the inside with plenty of scope and space for celebrating special occasions. This is one of our very popular houses all year round.

At the front of the house there is a patio garden with large outside dining table and chairs. A washing carousel at side of house and shed at rear containing charcoal barbeque and some beach toys etc.
